M1003 - HARDY LIMITED EDITION FLY SET - This limited edition set (only 50 are being produced) comes in an engraved aluminium case, with a printed guide to the flies in the set. Also included is a Limited Edition red covered copy of Salmon Fishing by J.J. Hardy. This is a beautiful new edition of J.J. Hardy's classic salmon book of 1907, recently reissued by Medlar Press . It includes an updated list (by Andrew Herd) of the 345 salmon flies originally catalogued by Hardy, as well as some superb colour plates of salmon flies tied in the hand by Ken Middlemist, the last Hardy salmon fly dresser. The patterns in this limited edition box represent the favourites selected from the hundreds of flies dressed by Hardy's for their customers over the ages. The selection has been made by Ken Middlemist, who was the last of the many apprentices that Hardy's taught to dress flies in the hand - making the dozen patterns in the box a unique opportunity to own a piece of fly fishing history. - £950 FOR SET
